The store is located in the vault of the historic Amsterdamsche Bank, a landmark building on Amsterdam’s famous Rembrandt Square. Jan 25, 2012 Starbucks Coffee Launches in Morocco Casablanca, Morocco; January 25, 2012 –Starbucks Coffee Company (NASDAQ: SBUX) in partnership with Alshaya Morocco S.A.S, a subsidiary of M.H.Alshaya Co., the Middle East’s leading retailer, opened their first two stores in Morocco on December 5, at the Morocco Mall. A third store is planned to open in March on the Boulevard d’Anfa. Jan 11, 2012 Autogrill and Starbucks Coffee extend partnership in Europe Milan/Seattle, January 2012 – Autogrill Group (Milan: AGL IM) and Starbucks Coffee Company (Nasdaq: SBUX), which started their co-operation in the United States in 1991, have extended their global partnership to develop new business in Europe. (more)Autogrill will start operating Starbucks stores at its select points of sale in France this year. The first stores will be located in Paris, in high-speed railway stations, a channel of strategic importance. Later this year, two stores will open in Marseille Airport in Halls 1 and 4. In the Netherlands, in the coming months, Autogrill will also introduce the Starbucks brand on motorways with the first openings in AC sites in De Meern and Meerkerk. Autogrill currently operates around 370 Starbucks (352 in North America and 15 in Europe) with operations that generated revenues of more than US$450 million (over €340 million)2 in 2010. |

Nov 30, 2011 Starbucks to Create 5,000 Jobs in the U.K. LONDON, November 30, 2011 - Starbucks Coffee U.K. (Nasdaq: SBUX) announced today its intent to create thousands of new jobs as it significantly steps up its drive-thru program following three years of development and strong customer response to the convenience of Starbucks coffee on-the-go. The move will see 200 new drive-thru stores opened over the next five years and will establish Starbucks as the market leader in this area. Combined with openings of conventional stores over the same period, the company expects to create 5,000 new jobs. The growth reflects the continuing trend for better coffee in the U.K., which means that customers now want the best coffee wherever they are, rather than just as a High Street treat. |

Jul 28, 2011 Starbucks Acquires Full Ownership of Starbucks Switzerland and Austria Zurich/Vienna, July 28, 2011– Starbucks Coffee Company (NASDAQ: SBUX) today announced that it has assumed 100 percent ownership and operating control of Starbucks Coffee Switzerland and Starbucks Coffee Austria through the acquisition of its joint-venture partner Marinopoulos Holdings S.A.R.L.’s shares in Starbucks-Marinopoulos Holdings B.V.
